Moroccan Salad Dressing

There's a really brilliant mixture of Moroccan salad dressing that I use very often, and it's great because you can put various vegetables in the mix and it tastes delicious. Some people may say that it's Italian, and that is fair enough. You can use the following mixture of vegetables:

  • 1 cup of carrot and 1 cup of potato. Peeled, chopped finely and boiled
  • 1 cup of carrot and 1 cup of peas. prepared as above
  • 2 cups of beetroot (4-5 medium beetroots), cleaned, boiled, then peeled and chopped finely.
Drain the desired mix of vegetables and place in a bowl.

Recipe for Moroccan Salad Dressing:
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • half of one small onion, chopped very finely
  • 1/4 cup of chopped parsley
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • salt to taste
Mix the salad dressing in a bowl with the vegetables. Garnish with parsley if desired.

The Benefits of Henna

I've been using henna on my hair for 3 months now, and I must say that all of the results are positive. Applying henna as a paste to my hair mixed with vinegar, along with 2 teaspoons of paprika (to increase the redness) has given me the following:

  • the composition of my hair seems to have changed and it doesn't instantly break upon handling anymore
  • all itchiness and dandruff are gone
  • any gray hairs have changed to a honey blonde color (very nice side benefit)
  • hair is a deep red color
It feels really good to apply something completely natural and good for me, instead of applying chemical straighteners which were bad for my hair and my overall health, and didn't have nearly as many positive side benefits. I recommend henna for dry, curly hair. Follow it up with a natural protein treatment of 1 whole egg mixed with quarter of a cup of olive oil. Apply mixture to hair, cover with a shower cap and leave it in for 20 minutes. Rinse it out with warm water (not hot), and wash out with a good shampoo/conditioner combined or a gentle baby shampoo. I suggest that you do the natural protein treatment once a week, and apply henna once a month. You can thank me later. :)
